Ealing Council is hosting two afternoons of free family activities and entertainment in August in celebration of National Playday.
The first event will take place in Rectory Park, Northolt, on Wednesday 7 August from 12noon – 4pm. Children will be able to let off steam with a giant slide and assault course. There will also be a circus workshop and a petting farm. Smaller children can play in the Under 5’s Zone with ball pools.
And a week later, there will a second day of family entertainment at Southall Park on Wednesday 14 August from 12noon-4pm. Again, it will be packed with free activities including a pirate ship, a sandpit, an astroglide slide and a magic show.
Both events are open to everyone and people are being encouraged to bring a picnic and stay for the afternoon.
There will also be smaller events happening at play centres and children’s centres across the borough. More details can be found at http://www.playday.org.uk.
