Helping you get into work

Cllr Bassam Mahfouz speaks of the challenges faced in Ealing and how Ealing Council is helping residents get back into work

We know many Ealing residents have been impacted by the pandemic with a lot of you having to deal with losing a job, having hours reduced, being placed on furlough or even made redundant.

Together with local partners and employers, we are working hard to help residents, particularly those at a disadvantage, get into good quality work.

Work support is available from Ealing Work West, council’s employment, learning and skills team.

Here’s how we can help you get into work

To support you in finding the right job, we can put you in touch with one of our dedicated employment brokers, who can offer advice and guidance on:

  • Finding work, an apprenticeship, traineeship or a Kickstart placement
  • Dealing with redundancy
  • Improving not only your job prospects, but also your earning potential.
